Bouquet d'Or

class: Tea-Noisette Rose
breeding: Ducher, 1872
photographed by Daphne Filiberti in her garden
Warm buttery petals of soft butterscotch / buff open with golden hearts
when warmed by the sun. This rose is a vigorous grower (to about 10
feet) with fully double, quartered or muddled blooms. The foliage is
a semi-glossy, dark green. As a Tea-Noisette it combines classic Tea
form with the sought-after coloring that is a lot like 'Safrano'. The
rose is not noticeably clustered. The name translates to a bouquet
of gold. There is seldom a time when the rose is without flowers.
