Hybrid Gallica
Hybridized by Jean-Pierre Vibert 1999
This is a unique Hybrid Gallica. The wood and foliage are completely without prickles. The large, single petaled flowers (three to four inches in diameter) open flat, and are a brilliant pink blending to white at the center.
Named after "Mignonne, allons voir si la rose" from the poem Ode à Cassandre by Pierre de Ronsard, which is particularly fitting to this rose because it does not have thorns.
