From Harkness' Roses: "Everyone who admires delicacy and grace ought to see 'Michèle Meilland', which is lovely in its dark smooth stems, its leaves, and its slim blooms. The color varies greatly, from a ghostly pallor to a jolly flush; and I believe when one's back is turned, 'Michèle' makes herself up on the sly, and favours a touch of yellow or even orange in her powder."

These roses are some of my favorites in bouquets. The bush is full and more than a little like a Tea.
