Hybrid Arvensis
Hybridized by Jean-Pierre Vibert 2000

This rose has single to semi-double, clustered flowers that are very fragrant. Each flower measures about two and a half inches across. Petals are violet pink and display yellow orange stamens. The rose climbs to a height of 10 to 13 feet. Not remontant.

Named after Berengaria of Navarre, wife of King Richard the Lion Hearted of England. In 1209, she founded the Cistercian abbey of L'Epau, near Le Mans (Sarthe), where to this day you can see her tomb.
